Excursion Form, July 14th, 2017

Dear Parents and Guardians:
As part of the math curriculum in MCR3U and MHF4U on Friday July 14th, 2017 students in these math courses will be attending a courses’ trip to the University of Toronto and to Ryerson University.
Students are to come to school on time at 9 am. There will be classes until 11:30 am, at which time students and their teacher, Mr. Rafiee, will be making their way down to these universities, where they will be visiting these institutions in order to investigate university program choices in Math, but also to practically apply while there the mathematical concepts they are currently learning in class.
The trip will conclude at approximately 4 pm at which time students and their teacher will be returning to McCanny Secondary School for pick up by parents and/or their guardians.
Schedule of Events:
9 am: Students will come to school for first classes.
9 am – 11:30 am: Students will be continuing with classes as usual.
11:30 am: Students/Mr. Rafiee depart for the downtown core/universities
Approx 12:30 Students/Mr. Rafiee arrive at 777 Bay Street.
1:00 – 4:00 pm Students/Mr. Rafiee tour University of Toronto/Ryerson.
4:00 pm Students/Mr. Rafiee depart for McCanny Secondary School
4:30-5:00 pm Students/Mr. Rafiee arrive at McCanny Secondary School
Students over the age of 18 are permitted to sign below by themselves, to attend the excursion to University of Toronto and Ryerson University. Students who are under 18 are required to have a parent or guardian sign for them.
